Saturday, 17th of December is the last Ivanhoe Makers Market for 2011. Come and find that perfect handmade gift in the beautiful surrounds of the Livingstone Community Centre. We have indoor and outdoor stalls with plenty to choose from. We have a Christmas hamper draw. Tickets are free when you purchase something from one of our stallholders. Local artist, Teresa Bennett, is participating in an exhibition, currently at The Gallery @ City Library. Titled, ‘Selected works from second year students, CAE Diploma of Visual Art 2011’
It showcases the works of minor studies students. Included are printmaking, painting and installation.

Everything from garden godesses in clay to living works of art, to owls made from kitchen implements, to sculpture from recycled materials, to flower paintings, to mosaics, to baskets, to ceramic sulpture.

Clay Totem Workshop withAvis Gardner

Cost $98 …Includes Clay and steel rod. All tools/moulds etc provided. Extra charge for firing ($5 per kg).
Banyule Works on Paper Exhibition for 2011 is now one, but will be finishing soon. If you haven’t seen it yet, you have until the 12 of December.
Exhibition is on at the Banyule Arts Space and is open Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
